Washington and Oregon are among the best and most prolific
wine-producing states in the Country. In the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s, skilled
winemakers realized the Gorge climate and soil was perfectly suited for
grape growing. Now, the region is “a world of wine in 40 miles”.
